Privacy for Garage Door Service Calls
An independent local garage door provider in our network answers Waxhaw NC Garage Doors calls, and every call is recorded. This page explains what we collect, who receives it and how to contact [email protected].
Handling Your Call and Service Information
Waxhaw NC Garage Doors connects callers with garage door repair in Waxhaw, NC and nearby towns and offers local guidance. When you call, one of our local garage door partners, an independent professional in our network, answers. Your technician handles the service conversation and does the work. We collect information through calls and the website in the ways described below.
Recording starts with your call
The recording includes every call made to our number, from the start of the connected call through its end. Continuing on the line once you are connected means you consent to that recording. End the call if you do not agree to have it recorded.
The recording covers the full conversation, including what you say to your technician who answers. The length of the recording is the length of that call; it does not describe how long we keep the recording afterward.
What the phone system collects
Calls pass through our own call-tracking platform. Along with recording the conversation, the platform logs call details such as your phone number, the time of the call and how long it lasts. Whatever you say during the call is included in the recording.
A description of the garage door problem is part of the call information when you discuss it on the line. The phone number and timing details are also call data, separate from the words spoken during the conversation. Calling the line therefore creates both a recording and a record of those call details.
Where call information goes
We share recordings and call data only with your technician who takes your call, with the call-tracking service that runs the line, and when the law requires. Your technician is the independent local garage door professional in our network who answers the call and does the work.
Recordings and call data stay with us for as long as they are needed. That applies to the stored conversation and the logged call details. The time spent talking on the phone does not set a storage or deletion schedule.
Counting website visits
We use Google Analytics 4 and Umami on the website to count visits, pages and devices. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies. Umami is hosted on a server we run and sets no cookies. These tools count activity on the website; call recordings and phone details are collected through the call-tracking platform described above.
You will not find forms, accounts, payments or advertising on these pages. There is no website form for sending a garage door request or a privacy request.
Maps on some pages
Pages that show a Google map pass your IP address and browser details to Google when the map loads.
Email about your privacy
Send privacy questions to [email protected]. Use the same address to request access to or deletion of personal information, or to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information under state privacy laws.
An opt-out does not stop a caller from being connected to one of our local garage door partners. You can use the privacy email for those requests and for questions about the information described in this notice, including call recordings, call details and website analytics.
